高中双录取

什么是双注册?

双录取 is a program that allows eligible high school 学生 to earn credit toward high school graduation and future college degree programs. Credits earned through 双录取 will be applied 到 student’s high school transcript and FAU transcript.

布劳沃德县公立学校和家庭教育项目的学生, please be advised that Broward County Public Schools is not authorizing summer 双录取 at FAU. The only exception is 学生 that have applied for and have been accepted 到 Museum of Discovery and Science Program through the College of Engineering and Computer Science. 如果你 have any questions, please contact your high school guidance counselor.

Eligibility要求

有Eligibility参加FAU的双KU体育计划, you must meet all of the following requirements and submit the application materials by the deadline:

  1. Enrolled in grades 6-12 in either a Palm Beach or Broward County public high school, 家庭教育计划, 或经批准的私立学校

  4. Have completed at least 4 high school credits, with 1 credit in English and 1 in math

课程限制和注册政策

秋天和春天
双录取 学生 may register for a maximum of 8 credit hours within the full term. 学生没有Eligibility注册部分学期课程.

夏天
双注册学生最多可以注册4个学分. 学生有Eligibility在学期的任何部分注册课程.

一般的指导方针
双录取学生不得注册:

  1. Courses that are less than three credits without a corresponding lecture/lab
  2. 及格/不及格或满意/不满意的课程
  3. 定向独立学习课程
  4. 留学课程
  5. 研究生课程
  6. 未满足先决条件的课程
    • FAU不记录双录取学生的考试成绩或Grades单. 如果你 believe you already meet a prerequisite due to exam credit or another college course (not taken at FAU), then you must request overrides directly from the department over the course.

双录取 学生 are only permitted to register for four courses within the College of Business

  1. ECO 2013 -宏观经济学
  2. ECO 2023 -微观经济学
  3. GEB 2011 -商业导论
  4. ISM 2000 -信息系统基础

准备注册

As a dual enrollment student, you will register yourself for classes once 登记 opens. Before registering, you must resolve any prerequisites and/or permission requirements.

Check to see if a class has any restrictions by clicking on the course title (either within the 可搜索的进度 或者在KU体育 MyFAU 注册页面). You should get a pop-up box that has multiple tabs with detailed information about the course. Select the "Prerequisites" or “Restrictions” tab to see what the course requires before you can register. 如果列出了您未满足的限制条件, you will need to reach out 到 department or instructor in order to request 登记 access. 登记 permission is not guaranteed for classes in which you do not meet the listed requirements.

Once 登记 opens, you can log in to your MyFAU 页面 and access the 登记 site. 登录后，按以下步骤操作:

教科书和费用

学费

双重KU体育的学生免收学费、注册费和实验费. 但是，所有学生都需要支付以下费用:

    • $10.00一次性学生证费

  • 交通费(TAF)
    • All FAU 学生 are responsible for paying this fee each semester they enroll, 他们是否在校园里停车

Final grades are automatically sent to each high school at the end of every semester. 成绩 earned through 双录取 will be applied to both your high school and FAU record (transcript).

如何递交双注册申请?

新生双录取申请由四个部分组成. Please see the section Apply for 双录取 above for details on the application paperwork. The 网上报名表格 will require you to create an 账户 and submit information online. 一旦完成, you can submit the remaining application paperwork via email as PDF attachments to  hsdual@能力.edu. 如果你是返回双注册学生, 你需要提交一份新的许可表和更新的GPA证明.

The system will display any holds on your 账户 and indicate which office to contact in order to resolve the hold or to receive more information on it.
I believe that I have already met a course prerequisite due to exam credit or another college course (not taken at FAU). 我如何申请课程重写?
Course overrides must be provided by the department over the course you want to register for. We recommend requesting a course override from the department at least two weeks prior to 登记.

You will be able to register yourself online through your MyFAU 账户 once the 登记 period opens. Always pay attention to 删除/添加的最后一天 for the term and make sure any changes to your schedule are completed by that date to avoid late fees and unintended course grades.

Yes, but you will need to submit a new Permission Form with the class listed on it. You will have 直到删除/添加的最后一天 for the term to adjust your 登记 and submit a finalized Permission Form.
